Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their team in North Carolina. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about finance and accounting, and eager to contribute to the financial success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Working with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assisting with the month-end close process to ensure financial statements are accurate and complete.
  • Providing support in maintaining and updating accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in conducting bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required Work Hours

The position requires working Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.

Benefits

The company offers a competitive pay range of $27 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Details

This position involves approximately 0% travel time, allowing the Staff Accountant to focus on on-site responsibilities.
